- Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist with Dry Needling Qualifications.
Background:
Top started his career in the health industry by completing a Bachelor of Coaching Science at the University of Canberra (UC) in 2009.
He then went on to further his studies in 2010, completing a Diploma in Remedial Massage at the NSW School of Massage in Sydney.
From here, Top’s career began as a Chiropractor’s assistant, where he was able to hone both his coaching science and massage skills.
Top later returned home to Canberra, working as a sports and remedial massage therapist in a physiotherapy clinic.
In the following years, Top went on to treat a wide range of people across all ages and abilities, including professional athletes, injured workers, paediatric and geriatric populations.
Top has continued to advance his education and in 2016 completed a Masters in Occupational Therapy at UC.
As an Occupational Therapist, Top enjoys creating a higher quality of life in each of his patients by increasing their task efficiency, improving their accessibility, and refining their gross and fine motor skills.
Top has over nine years experience working in the allied health private sector and strives to achieve patients’ goals in the most efficient and timely manner.
Top has worked within different health settings including allied health clinics, medical practices, school based programs, early childhood centres and elite sports teams.
